i’d rather be the only lesbian in a bar full of gay men than be in a gay bar filled with straight women 

like..its so telling when someone writes a trash thinkpiece about how straight women belong in gay bars wherein they use “women” and “straight women” interchangeably and sometimes spend half a sentence being like “and by the way women can be queers too” as their big Checkmate to the Homos ™. As though the women writing this and her soft boy boyfriend don’t have a panic attack every time they think a butch lesbian might be glancing in the direction of her cotton candy pink hair and shirt from h&m that says FEMME.
